This SPLOT was created initially to help achieve the instructional goal of a single workshop.
That workshop is a part of the #OLCIdeate series of fortunate events. In said workshop, led by Terry Greene and Jonathan Lashley, we asked participants to share their ideas, in audio format, on how to leave room for students to make some room for themselves. Especially in the online learning world. Which right now is the entire learning world.
Will it be a place to collect sounds for more workshops and stuff? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So… what do I say in my recording?
We plan to take all the recordings and splice them into an epic radio show/podcast filled with ways to leave empty spaces for students to fill in online learning environments. What we’d like for you to do is:
Introduce yourself (or your alter ego if you want to be mysterious)
Give us a little of that context (what kind of courses your idea works best with or something like that)
Tell us how you leave some space for learners to participate and contribute to online learning environments (like say a course podcast or something like that) and what you hope learners do with it.
Shout goodbye at the top of your lungs (not required)
